This Mediterranean-style beachfront hotel is a great choice for vacationing families as children under 12 stay free. The hotel offers the option of an all-inclusive rate that covers all meals and activities. The hotel is located in the Hotel Zone, with its night clubs, restaurants, and shopping mall, and is less than three kilometers from downtown. A number of day and night activities are available for both adults and children, including a kids club, games room, and movies to keep kids occupied. On-site dining is available at Arenas, with daily theme nights, and Diletto, serving Italian and international meals. Take a cooling dip in the swimming pool and enjoy a cocktail or two afterwards at the pool bar. The Holiday Inn Cancun Arenas combines super amenities with great service in a beautiful location.

View of the ocean, the beach, and the rooms were clean.
For a 3 star hotel it was adequate for the room size and location. Extra charges (422 pesos for 20 mintues) for use of internet was annoying. Buffet for dinner became boring after about the third day. The Tequilla Grill and Italian restaurant were only open on select days of the week and were already prebooked so unable to take advantege of the other food selections. Cons - Same similiar buffet selections for dinner night after night.
Hotel Feature Tip :
Make reservation early for other restaurants on site. Or do just the EP plan and eat dinners out.
